Todd and Bruno had a vision — a private Tuscan-inspired estate in the hills of Jamul, transformed into San Diego's most intimate wedding and event venue. What they didn't have was a digital presence that matched.
Their site was built on a pre-formatted GoDaddy template. No SEO. No custom design. No control over content. For a venue that needed to constantly update availability, showcase new events, and attract couples searching for "wedding venue San Diego," the template was a dead end.
The Solution
The site was rebuilt from scratch on WordPress — not because it's trendy, but because Todd and Bruno needed a platform where they could manage constantly changing content: event galleries, seasonal availability, vendor updates, and blog posts. WordPress with proper SEO plugins gave them that control.
Every page was written with keyword research driving the content strategy. "Wedding venue San Diego," "micro-weddings San Diego," "elopements San Diego" — each service got its own page targeting specific search terms with real volume.
Then came the visual content. The estate, the grounds, the ceremony spaces, and the reception areas were all photographed on-site. Video walkthroughs were produced to let couples experience the venue before scheduling a tour. Every image and video was optimized for web — fast loading, SEO-friendly filenames, proper alt text.
The Result
This project is the most complete representation of what Coastform Studio offers. Web design, SEO copywriting, photography, videography — every piece built by one creative director with one cohesive vision.
Todd and Bruno were so impressed that they privately hired me as an ongoing contractor to handle all backend web management, email correspondence, marketing, social media, and visual content. That's not a client relationship — that's a partnership.
What makes this project personal: I shot Todd and Bruno's wedding. They loved the work. Their venue was born from the love they experienced at their own son's wedding at the estate. From photographing their ceremony to building their business — it's full circle in every sense.
